I need some help here. I got the set of tapes and the first time I tried to watch the second tape (finishing part) my vcr ate the tape. Is there anywhere I can just by the second tape?
The next question is...Is this tape worth buying again to learn finishing techinques or is there a better more up to date video? I've seen a few complaints about all the newbies trying to learn taxidermy with out putting in thier dues, and I just want to say I am planing on attending a week long course on whitetail mounting. I want a little bit more of an understanding about this whole process front to back before I start the course. Thanks everyone.

Hi Joe! First let me say i have that tape. YES ITS GOOD AND I DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN BUY IT. Call WASCO. As far as paying dues gos, it takes time and practice. There is no way around that, no matter how much talent you have. For some its less time than others etc. Joe the best advice on mounting any kind of deer, bird, fish, snake etc. is to get as much good info. you can. Search the archives. Get tapes and books on the best taxidermist. Joe you can learn alot from these guys here. You need good reference materials. Just because you buy a book on building a house doesnt give you the skills to go out and build one the first try. So you need to practice, practice, ref. materials, books, tapes seminars, your state taxidermy ass. Roxboro, NC HAS CLASSES IN APRIL ETC. WISH YOU LUCK MIKE
