Hiold your tape measure tight. However...ihe circumference might be off depending if one side is flattened out from laying while being frozen.

Just order a slightly smaller form to make sure it fits properly. Best way is to take the measurements from the skinned carcass.

Skin it...double salt and dry it...or skin and freeze the skin until ready to tan it before mounting.

Then you'll have the form on hand to prep while hide is being processed.

Too bad you "don't have time" to do things right.
WHEN WILL you have time? Time is all you have...which is this very breath you're taking now. Idea is to appropriate it wisely.

Keep the raccoon frozen until you can do the jon peoperly...there are no useful shortcuts in this game of taxidermy. Any taken will long be regreted later on. Think about it...just a word of friendly constructive advice...Take care.
