how recent is this video? i have purchased video from v d with don holt he does a good job but it is so hard to see, almost like it is an old movie or something.

That's the difference in videos. WASCOS videos are studio quality tapes...as advertised in their catalog. You don't have to worry about buying WASCO videos.
It's like video movies...they could have been shot twebty or more years ago...but the quality is still there...Go for it.
I've viewed the A to Z wood duck video. I'd give it a thumbs up for a beginner! She even shows you how to make a nice looking habiatat base for the mount.
A lot of the videos on the market are less than "professional" or "broadcast" quality, but the info contained in them is worth sifting through the fuzz, snow and hummming!
I have it and started with it. All is good except I would not use wax around the eyes. or nostrils. The video quality is good though
