My aunt recently exposed her ant farm to unexpectedly low temps and they unfortunately died. I have thought about trying to bring the little fellows back to some kind of life so she could sit and stare at them like she always loved to do. Is there something that you pro's would do to help them look alive? Just want to see her smile again. Thank you experts for your time.

Take them to a good Taxideremist. If all fails...buy her a new Ant Farm. Most Farms...regardless of acreage size...have ants on them.
For trying but I asked for one of the pro's, not you Ed.
Ed gave you as good an answer as you'll get and in case you HAVEN'T noticed, he doesn't clown around with the BEGINNERS category.
Ants have a EXO-skeleton and they don't have flesh to rot away, so dead is about as good as they'll get. If your's was a serious question, I'm wondering what kind of thoughts you put into the fact that the ants will no longer tend to the tunnels(OBVIOUSLY) and the sedimentation will sooner or later collapse the elaborate "farm" anyway. If your concern for your aunt is genuine, get off your butt and do as Ed told you: go get more ants.
Thanks Ed and George. I'll get my Aunt Hazel fixxed right up! She's had her ant farm for 1200 years now.It kinda bugs me though.
You made it quite obvious that you are not serious in helping your aunt, who by the way is quite old (1200 yrs.) Try throwing some cold water to stop the stare and please PLEASE get yourself a life!
Yes indeed...I remember your Aunt well...being a 1,200 Year Old Highlander Immortal...ask her if she remembers me.
Which supplier carries manikins for ants, does anybody know,I would sure like to mount me a pair.
I get mine from...'Licec's Taxidermy Emporium"...very lifelike...look like their ready to crawl off the Farm.
Think I'll order a couple ,I don't have any in my showroom.
