i was going to try Epo-Grip glue, and when I called they wanted to know what kind. Water based, or epoxy based. What kind do I want? How much to mount say 10 deer?

if they are tanned you can use either, if dped the 2part is what you have to use.
I did a dped head a few weeks ago, the hide would not have made it throught the salting and used water based. The water based acted like super glue, set right now! So you may want to think about what I just said.
If you are a beginner I would definately use the water based if you are tanning your skins. It will give you a lot more time to get everything positioned right.
