I'm wondering what products use in any part of taxidermy ie. tanning, mounting ect. cant be found and local stores. Seem like buying these products form sources other than taxidermy suppliers can save a little money. Thanks everyone!

salt you can buy ,where they sell animal feed , aluminum sulfate from large chemical suppliers in 30 lbs bag at around $17 to 25 bucks , sulfuric acid some hardware stores carry it as drain cleaner in Gallon Jugs. Depends what tanning formula you are going to use.
