First mink....should I pickle and tan as with other mamals or is there a better method for such a small animal. Would dry preserve be a better method? Thanks, Bob M

Salt, then pickle (with basacryl,or some other type of germicide)
then tan. That's what I would do, but I know lots of guys who would take some short cuts. depends how important this mink is, why risk it!

traet it the same as any other skin.

I tanned salted, pickled and tanned just like a deer or any other mammal.

That should be salted, pickled and tanned.

Tanning or Dry Preserve. Kwowtan-2000 doesn't require Salting.
