Examine it routinely while tumbling . Is it getting soft and supple? Tumble until you get desired results . Remember , No Heat! This is assuming you've tanned it with a quality product and the hide was handled properly before you attained it. Rittels pro-plus is also an excellent product that produces good results.(soft hides) Thinning properly is also a biggy when trying to achieve suppleness. Good Luck! Jeff F.

guess i asked my question wrong,,,, in breakthrew magazine, they have the advertisements of the companies that do soft tanning, and was just curious, someday ill go tour a tannery.
