Thanks for the help! I am using the real heads of the ducks. I was wondering if the monofilament line would hold like some thin wax string. Do I skin the duck to the base of the neck then make a small incision at the base of the skull to the top of the head? Thank you for your time.

Todd, did you get the head out through the neck on the first duck,if you did that must have been "FUN", and then did you get the skull back through after?
Yes I got the head through the neck but I will never do that again. Like I said I am a beginner. I got to the point where I got the skull out cut the back of the skull off to get brain out and the eyes then pulled it though the neck then put it the freezer.
