Shanag;

If it's not weined yet no you can't feed it water. Go to a good pet supply store and your going to need to get a milk replacement formula. One of the product is called Espalak(Spelling).

Wal Mart has pet formula

Wally World carries both feline and canine formulas. Not sure which is best for one of those, though. (I believe I used the kitten formula in the past for baby rabbits.) I'd think anything used for rabbits or guinea pigs would work, being rodents also. Read the labels, they may state, "also for rabbits and guinea pigs." They even have pet nurser bottles. Also, pet stores and feed stores carry that stuff. If it is really young, be careful not to overfeed it! It will result in scours (diarrhea) and probably death. I've managed to raise some tiny, wild baby rabbits in the past. It takes frequent, small feedings.

By the way, in MO it is actually illegal to own such an animal. Depending on where you are, if the conservation people find out you have it, chances are they will confiscate it.

Good luck!

feeding a grin pig?

Hmmm... here's my suggestion: Depending on the distance, either a 70 - 100 grain Winchester Power Point (SP) in .243 caliber. Or you could go the baby food route and then I'd suggest a .22 caliber CCI Stinger hollow point.

This is what we feed ground hogs around here.
