Brian, I inject the feet with Preservsit mixed 50/50 with glyserine. There are other injectable products sold for preserving bird feet as well. Enjoy, Aaron H.
Aaron gave you good advise but when injecting you should put a pin in the hole where you made the injection. This will keep your chemicals from seeping back out. Van Dykes also offers a product called balmex that can be used for this purpose. Good Luck- Jeff F.
