soft forms or rigid forms?

I am wondering if you all have a preference for the soft foam forms or the hard forms? Why do some squirrel forms not have feet? I had a lot of trouble mounting a squirrel on a mannikin that had no feet-but I assume there is some reason the mannikin had no feet. How do I avoid buying any more mannikins without feet if there is no picture in the catalog? Thank you.

when you call to order ask them,
the one's w/o feet you generaly build the foot and ankel
out of clat and blend what you molded into the form,
problem's start when you get one standing or sitting
because of the weight will destoy your shape,
so i add a wire from the form and run it out the bottom pad
of the feet.

soft forms seem easier to get the skin on, Especially with small animals like squirrels

Rigid

You guys should have experienced the old days when what few mannikins there were ended up being "one size fits all" and they had NO LEGS, PERIOD!. The rigid forms have much better detail that the soft forms. If they are not as easy to fit, you're cutting your skins wrong.
