im trying to make my first lamp and dont know how to attach the light fixture or which one to buy to make it look right. can anyone give me any hints to help.

McKenzie has a hemcolyte I particularly like because it is adjustable to different lengths (in case your hunter cuts your short on one or more legs). They also sell a great kit that comes with complete instructions. Van Dykes also sells a kit and they have other acoutrements like bases, different diameter flanges, optional switches that works well. Instructions are also included.
