Feet And Wings

It was once posted by someone else, but they said that they used a 50 /50 mix of Preservz-It and wood glue. The idea behind the wood glue is that it is used to help plump ( fill out ) the wings and feet areas to help reduce shrinkage considerably. You can check the archives as well for other ideas.

Check laws first

Before preserving anything be sure that it is legal for you to posess crows in your state or province. Some places protect them as they are classified as a migratory bird. Some states have open seasons on them IF you are a licensed hunter. If in a State with an open season you either need to have shot them yourself and have the license number handy if asked for it, or have been given them by a hunter who legally took them in which case you need to have their name and license number, date and location where they were shot. If you find a bird in a state or province that HAS an open season but it was not hunted, you need state permits and may need federal permits which are incredibly hard to get. If there is no open season in your state or province they are deemed protected and you need a permit from the federal governement. If you do not have proper documentation proving it is legal for you to have these parts - you are comitting a crime. Seems extreme I know and it's a topic that comes up out here a lot... but thats just the way it is.

As it MAY be a federal offense depending on your location, it's something you may want to consider before proceeding with your project?
