I'm a "hunter" who decided to pick up taxidermy. I enjoy my hunting and fishing privileges and don't want ot lose them thru my lack of knowledge. I live in Texas, is there any one out there who can help me or has the phone number of the "right" person to talk to at Parks and wildlife? I've tried to e-mail TPW and even talked to a game warden without getting satisfaction.

Steve, if you haven't already, join your State association. My husband and I are members of Texas Taxidermy Association. My husband John is also on the board of directors. Texas is about to have our Annual Convention. Email us and I will be sure to get you the information. I would love to tell you more about our association and sign you up if your interested.

Try calling 1-800-792-1112 (menu 0) ext. 4381 or 1-512-389-4381 Both of these numbers are for Texas Parks and Wildlife about receiving a taxidermy information packet. I had mine by the end of the month after calling, just give um your address and they ship them right out.
