I'm using one of these to try painting my first turkey head and didn't get info on what to clean it with prior to painting. Its like a plastic shell with soft foam inside. What should I use to clean it with before painting that won't hurt the eyes as it has preset eyes?

The safest is warm soapy water and a scrub brush. Others like to wash it down with laquer or acetone.
