My question is in my small hometown every Monday the city has what they call Trade-Day you can buy most any kind of farm animal you may want. My question is on ducks these individuals do not have any kind of paper work can i buy ducks and mount them for my own practice ?If so how do i tag these birds and be legal?Thanks for your answer!

Pen raised mallards don't require paperwork but should, by law either be pinioned or have a toe or web cut to mark it as pen raised.
