Jason......I have tied flies for many years, and also have dyed everything under the sun.......make a paste of 40% peroxide, and basic white......rub on both sides of the feathers, but do not seperate the biots of the feathers......do not leave this on to long 15 min. max, or it will destroy the feather.....dry between two paper towls, then set in the sun......you will need to use a acid based dye, and replace the acid with vinager.....you can set the dye in a micro wave......do not use Rit dye or any other brand of water based dye....the best acid based dye available, comes from J. Lowenstein in Brooklyn, NY.....it comes in a multitude of colors, and the floresenct dyes are excellant...good luck...fishworks@friend.ly.net
