The four years will be a big help .. and really shows that your serious to a potential employer. On the other hand, many parks, zoos ect always have spaces alloted for volunteers. It's a great way to get practical experience and see if this is something you really want to do. You think working in a marine park is fun. It can be, but it's work. You cut fish and measure portions for several hours in the morning. You also have to weigh and insert medications and vitamins into specific fish for each animal. You feed the fish .. you do a show .. you go back to square one and cut more fish for the next feeding. Go out and clean filters and or cages ect, ect, ect. Most zoo work is preparing food and scooping poop. You don't get to sit around and play with the animals all day. It's work .. and you smell like you've been working with fish all day when you go home. :) .. If you live near a place, volunteer your time. If your attitude is you won't volunteer hours because you want to get paid for them, zoo work isn't for you. You can also expect to spend many hours with sick or dying animals trying to help them that you won't be paid for. It's the way the job is.

go to what ever school offers the course. You can sit and pick your ass because you dont learn crap from those over paid professors that like to rape little girls and play with their dicks behind their desks. Being a marine biologist is the biggest waste of you time. You basically fudge large and small animals and investigate what happenes when you do it. Once I was in the ocean and another marine biologist thought i was a fish and came to me and trapped me in a net and then took me back to his lab and locked me to a table and fudged the living crap out of me. It was the worst sex i have ever had and i am just telling you dont ever become a marine biologist and for surely dont fudge one!
