I was wondering. Im mounting a pair of mule dear antlers. It
is simply an antler mount, not a shoulder mount. I have made the
skull cap out of clay, and was wondering how to wrap the leather
around the clay to make it smooth and uniform so that it looks nice.
Also if there are any other materials that could be used other than
leather, I would be very appreciative if you would let me know.

Logan, Tough to describe wraping the leather over the skull plate. Main thing is us soft thin leather (buckskin) over a smooth finished surface. I roll the edge under itself around the burrs of the antlers and pull the edges to the back where I staple them to a thin wooden back. This of course won't show once the whole thing is screwed to an antler panel. Best thing is just play with it till you find what looks good to you or somebody must have a video on it if you prefer that way. Enjoy, Aaron H.
