I would like to make some things for my home out of antlers, but don't know how to even begin is there anyone out there who can share with me how to any information would greatly be appreciated. What do you use to cut the antlers? drill them with? Do you know any resources you could direct me to that explains how to build/make things with antlers? If you have had any experience working with antlers please email me thank you ever so much!

Cutting antlers is no problem, use a band saw, or even a hand saw, standard drills will drill them. Epoxies will glue them together. Your imagination is all that will be your boundaries. Make door handles, lamps, coat racks, just turn on the creative juices and go for it.

Tenbears has all the right answers! If you need to, you can soak an antler in hot water and that will soften it. Sometimes when I set a flint blade in an antler handle, I soak the antler in hot water then set the blade. When it cools and dries, the handle is nice and tight to the flint. Have fun!
PS Oh yeah, a belt sander is and indispensible tool when working with bone and antler. I have one that has a 4" belt and one that has a one inch belt. Get a good assortment of grits too.
