Sorry it took a while to read and answer your thread but that rubber washer you asked about goes on the back end of the air brush. It's a washer that fits on the threaded end where the air hose connects. This help stops the air from leaking out of the back end.
See if there's one attached if not unscrew the hose and replace it with the washer, rescrew in and your ready. If you already have one there save it cause the rubber in time with end up with dry rot which is normal like all rubber washers.
