Beginners Take Note

Submitted by Paul I on 06/10/2003. ( paulblastoatyahoo.com ) 209.210.132.64

After reading alot of the posts on here I felt the need to mention to you beginners that you need to say thank you to the experts helping you. These people are the best of the best and your getting free advice.Call a lawyer and try to do that.A word of warning is that they have mentioned in the past that they remember the rude ones and wont reply again.I think if you say thank you and let them know how the mounts turn out that it might make alot of them stay here and help.Just click on the above websites to see the awards and work that they have done and then you might understand why this site is so Great.

Your right Paul! Well for me I too am a beginner and i've noticed the same thing. People asking ?'s and then getting the answers in no time! And then not even saying thank you. That's why I was thought never to expect a thank you. But before I sign off I would like to THANK ALL THE PEOPLE WHO GIVES EXCELLENT ADVICE AND EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO GIVE ADVICE THAT IS SOMETIMES QUESTIONABLE. THANK YOU GUYS ALOT!

Yes you guys do help out, but the thing is you guys don't know when to stop. Just because you've mounted a few or a lot more mounts than someone doesn't mean your better than him or that person dosen't deserve respect. I was pissed off on my last post becasue some guy came on and thought his crap didn't stink so I told him what I thought of him. I don't respect someone unless they respect me. When they come right off and disrespect me thats when I tell them what I think of them. They don't have to say thank you, anyone can say that, but when someone give you respect that is a whole different ball game.

Respect is Earned

James i think you need to understand how this site works. These experts sometimes are busy and do not have time to answer quickley and when you double posted you broke one of the rules.Ed still pointed you in the right direction as there is alot of information on the site from years of experts. Also you insulted one of the best. The fellow named John C has been on for years and has helped many. Please take a couple of hours and go threw the past posts and you will get a better understanding of the forum rules. Also when your hand is held out for help the natural angle of your head is held lower as this is the way your brain forces you to respect someone helping you.

no you need to understand

who cares if I double post. Then if they don't have time to answer right away like you said they can answer then. Thats the whole point. So more people can see my post. Why go with the same old stuff people are saying maybe someone found something new that works better. As for a person being here helping people all the time, well if he wouldn't stick his nose where it dosen't belong the dog wont bite it off. It had nothing to do with him. If you guys would just leave the bs out of your posts than everything would be fine. As for a couple of hours going through these posts, well buddy I don't have time like that to waste like some others. The easiest way is to post and see what people have to say not to look and hope to find you answer. That would be the last thing to do.

I don't usually post a thank you to a followup that someone has given to my questions, because I'm not sure that they necessarily look at it again after the first time (does that make sense?). However, I try to thank them in advance when I originally make my post.

I have told you guys and gals this before, and it bears repeating, the advice and tips you give are invaluable. I hope that someday I am at a point where I can be of help to someone else.

You are appreciated more than you obviously know.

LeAnn
