Ladies and Gentlemen,
I finally thawed my tanned WT cape and mounted it (this past weekend). For a first mount- I am very pleased with the results. I just wnated to throw a great big thank you out there to all those that provide their expertise here! I still have to finish the mount, but this process has given me a great appreciation for this art form- both from a personal appreciation perspective, as well as from the financial perspective (appreciation of the effort required to achieve a quality mount- but that's a whole 'nother story). I can still hear JohnC's words of: "lots of little stitches" running through my head, as I stitched up an almost endless cut (funny, it seemed small when I caped the animal).
Just want you folks to know, that your efforts are appreciated. Despite the sometimes annoying bickering that goes on (I would suggest some people need a thicker skin- but I don't want to get any of that started). So in a word- Thanks!

Mark what a great post and Im sure these experts will remember it.
Thanks Ed- a picture is a good idea; but the big point is the THANKS. I didn't post to get any ego stroking, nor to blow smoke (the bickering on here always has me so sensitive as to what I say). Just take my post at face value- that's how it is meant. Also, it is sent out to all those that helped (I only happen to mention JohnC, because he came to mind when I was sewing)- through responses to my posts, through responses to posts that I looked at in the archives, and through creation of this site. Many people contributed to this one small success, and I just wanted to express my appreciation. I look forward to many years of sharing on this site.
