Polytranspar & Lifetone Laquer paint Question.

Hello again! I tried searching in the archives to see if the two above paints would be compatible to paint with each other? I've read that it wouldn't be good to mix each laquer brand together because of the conponents each brand had. But will it be o.k to spray over each other?

Hey David,Me again! I have personally sprayed and overlapped the two together and mixed them up in the same bottle without any problems. You can also spray water based over lacquer and vice-versa but they dont mix at all in the same container.

Yes

You can spray Laquer or water over each one. Make sure the paint is dry before you do it. Never mix.

Thank you Friends!

Correct...Laquer and Water based paints do not mix
Mix a little of each in a bottle,if you have nothing better to do,just to see what happens...
A sticky,gooey conglomeration of gukk...
After trying a little experiment of my own...I ALWAYS make sure when I coat one over the other that the underneath coat is dry !
Maybe overkill...but that's what I do.
