I posted them in the past year.
I tried to search for Krowtann instructions and I found where you had explained the over all procedure but I could not find an entry for the ratio of krowtann, water and salt. I apologize for bothering you but any help would be greatly appreciated.
For deer... 2.5 gallons of water/8 oz.of Krowtann/ 64 oz of salt.
For a bobcat LS 1/2 of all of the above.
Leave in solution for 3-4 days, turning each day. Skin side out.
Wash skin in clear water and then put in a solution of 1 1/2 gal water plus 11/2 oz. of sodium bicarbonate (for bobcat) For a red fox, 1/2 to 1 oz of SB. Add the sodium bicarbonate in 1/3 increments every 5 minutes. Leave for a total of 20 minutes.
Wash skin in liquid tide and let drip dry for 2 hours. Nothing mentioned for coons.
Thank you Jerry, I was really starting to freak out. The worst thing about all this is while I was digging thru the archives I paused long enough to clean the desk of and ended up finding the instructions. Your help is really appreciated, Thank you again.
