I got out of bed after trying to sleep for over an hour. My hands are screaming (wrists too) took another vicodin and decided to check the archives about CTS I came across the ad for Flextend and was wondering if anyone out there has tried it, and is it exspensive? I've talked about the surgery with my Dr., he says I need it. I would like another way. Thanks John

The Flextend is really a help-to-prevent CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrum...pain in tendons and nerves of hand)...and not a fixit after you have CTS severely...as you indicate you already have.
If your doctor recommends the surgery, then you need to get it...and not postpone playing game hoping it will go away by itself...it wont.
I get it in my right hand from being on this dang keyboard so much...but relax and excercize my hand by flexing it by taking breaks (for ten seconds...LOL).
A friend of mine had the surgery earlier this year and has recuperated quickly from it...is doing fine now. After you have the surger...then use the
Flextend to prevent CTS from occuring again.
Follow your doctor's advice...nothing to play around with...you don't want permnanent nerve damage the rest of your life and be crippled by it.
