i have a frozen striper thawing slowly in refrigerator. about how long do i have to get it skinned. also,can i degrease with Rittel's degreaser,same strengh as a mammal or less than two ounces per gallon? thanks bob m.

Do the same as you would for a mammel. Mix 1 fl. oz. to each 1 gallon of water - and soak the skin for 30 minutes - rinse and its ready to be treated or tanned before mounting. Dont add anything else to the degreasing solution. That includes a Bacteriacide or Salt!
You were right - I am wrong! Use 2 fluid ounces per each 1 gallon! So much for answering a question late at night! Sorry!
