does all dp have the stong chemical smell as does bess maid?

It is moth balls, naptha flakes to be more specific, and the smell will be gone soon enough. Naptha goes from a solid directly to a gas without becoming liquid. It is in the DP as a bug proofer. Once the smell is gone so is the naptha and it's bug proofing quality.
Forget the moth ball stink...it's 'old hat' now....not necessary.
