All mamals can carry lice, fleas, and ticks. The best things to do is to treat the squirrel with a sraying of Raid just after it is killed by putting the squirrel into a bag and sraying into the bag with Raid. Let the squirrel sit in there for no more than 10 minutes and them remove it. do not leave the squirrel in the bag as it will not let the animals body cool and will speed up the decomosition process.
Anyway, the fleas and ticks and lice will die pretty fast as the active ingrediant in Raid, Pyrethins, is very toxic and will kill them fast, but will also start to break down quickly as there is very little residual left from the chemical. let the animal air out for a short while and skin it out and process the skin asap. You should also were latex gloves as your heat from your hands can cause slippage on squirrels as well.

well that doesnt say much, how do you get rid of parasites that are on live baby squirrel's like the ones we found, you can just put raid on them! so far we have been flea combing and the fleas are gone but those tiny little off pale orange bugs still remain, what are they and how do we get rid of them?

You can call your local vet and/or local wildlife sanctuaries and ask them what to do. The wildlife place would probably be your best bet since you are caring for them and not bringing them in...
