RD, I have seen them for sale from $75 to $200. Usually depends on how much the seller has invested in it. Did he obtain the cape for free and send it out to a tannery? Then he probably has $35 in it, plus his time. Did he have to buy the cape from a local hunter? I usually have to pay $30 for a good cape. Figure in my time to cape it out, flesh it and turn the ears, lips and nose, tan it, shave it. I wouldn't sell an average tanned cape for less than $100 to $125, but then some guys like to work for free, that's why they are taxidermists.
