Dave Blank and the rest of the people involved with the Mid-west show did a Outstanding job putting this together. Last week there was a post about it being changed from Prarie du Chein to WAusau and I left a reply that wasn't very nice, I apologize to Dave for it after hearing why there was a mix-up and in the future I will call Dave directly with questions. Back to the show. The seminars were outstanding, especially the one by Brenda Duvall on casting a carcass. Also having Mike Orthober painting a northern pike and mounting a mallard was worth the drive in itself. I can't say enough good things about this show, what a learning experience. I also learned if you can't read your critique sheet because you forgot to bring your glasses make sure and turn it over when you go back to your room to get them, I would be contemplating suicide if I didn't have a thick skin hearing what two people were saying about my mount as they were reading what the judge wrote about my mount while I was standing behind them. funny though mine got a first and theirs received 2nds.

I don't know how he does it, but the guy seems tireless. He was responsible for the setup at the NTA show as well and he was right there in the middle of it. When the show was over, again, he was the man. Thanks Dave, for ALL you do for all of us.
