I USE DP AND WAS WONDERING, I HAD A CUSTOMER BRING ME A ENTIRE BOBCAT HIDE THAT HAS BEEN FLESHED AND SALTED, IT IS FAIRLY HARD. CAN I SIMPLY REHYDRATE THE HIDE WITH WATER AND THEN DP AND MOUNT, OR IS THERE ANOTHER METHOD. I AM NOT SET UP FOR TANNING IT IS NOT AN OPTION RIGHT NOW.

All you need to do is order some Liqui-Tan or Rineharts JRTS and just rehydrate it and paint the tans on. These are topical tans that don't require any "set up" and work quite well on thin skinned small game.
If you plan on using the DP, however, don't rehydrate it until you're ready to mount the animal. Then get in and out as quickly as possible. Slippage on bobcats ears can be a real issue here.
