Over the years, I have looked at many things under a make shift microscope. You may already have one or two (pun intended) just look at the object through your bino's backwords. You can get up close and personal with your subject. Really really close!

While you cannot take photos thru the inverted bino. you can use it to study minute details. Like counting the growth rings on a fish scale.
