Repaiting a broken nose on a european mounted antelope

Submitted by Eott on 09/20/2003. ( ) 216.190.223.219

I came home yesterday to find the European mount I was working on had fell down on the floor and broke the nose off. I was able to glue the two nose pieces back into place but now I have two about quarter size holes in the bottom of the skull. My question is what is the best way of fixing these holes to make it look normal. I don't want to buy a plastic skull if I can help it.

Use Sculpal

Use sculpal to fill in the holes. It may take a couple of applications. Feather the edges out, sand very lightly. Then paint with air brush to blend in with the surrounding bone.
