I skined out a Hooded Merganser that had been in the freezer for 5 years. Any how when I poped the eyeball the eyelid came with it. Since flex eyes doesn't have Hooded Merganser eyes do I have to get creative with majic scaulp? Has anyone ever done this before and what did you do to repair it?
Thanks in advance!

There are a few ways to take care of this problem. One is to use a burning pen and a thin piece of black string. Super glue the string tightly around the eye. Then burn and sculpt it with the burning pen. I think if you use good reference and take your time it will work very well. It did for me.
Second you can just carefully magi-sculpt the eyelids back in and paint it carefully. Or a combo of both, either way, best of luck to you!
Peters, This is actually an easy fix. (I would use an artificial head) When you set the eyes use black apoxie-sculpt or similar product under the glass eye. Push the eye in and the excess comes up around the eye. Roughly shape it to be sure there is enough to contact the eye skin all around and then position the skin over the head. Glue the edges of the face skin to proper points on the head. Now with a small wet sculpting tool shape the eye lid and texture it. Once set up it will be fine. Enjoy, Aaron H.
