Yes this site is now up and running and I have to say the voice option we now have is awesome. We had around 8 folks in there last night all chating by voice . You still have the option of the old typing in the room as well. Now the reason for this move
As you guys may already know msn has had a lot of problems in the last month or so. It"s not getting any better only worse. Last week msn put out On national news they were shutting down all chat rooms on the 14th of this month. Turns out it is not the group rooms they are killing at this time but they are on the chopping block to get shutdown unless all users pay $20.00 a year to chat. So we started working on a new place for us all last week and the yahoo voice chat engine is fast and easy to use. So we beta tested it before deciding to announce the opening of the new chat all test we have done show this is going to be a better site than msn. We have not uncovered any major bugs in the program and the chat room is setup as well even better in some ways than the msn site we use now. The only drawback to the chat is not the room itself it"s the reg for membership just take your time and read the instructions and you will be in the chat room ASAP. We still can add pictures and files as we did in the msn rooms. As for our msn taxichat room it is still up for now till we can get all the pics backed up and on the new site. So if you have been in the msn room the last few nights and we were not there it"s because we were beta testing the new taxichat room. now that its out that we have the new room I will post a link for the new site and look forward to seeing all the members join and talking with you again (talking) no pun intended! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Taxichat/

I have to agree with Mike that the new voice chat is really cool....Now you can put a voice with the names that you are used to chatting with..
Wheelman...As for as it being like this site..Its not ment to be...This is the best forum that I visit, I have learned a lot from reading and asking questions here and am sure that I will learn more as the time goes one..The new chat is just that A CHAT. Its a place to hang out in and *get to know* other members..

Its ment to be along the line of a chatroom with voice and the MSN sites. Not site to beat this. Look before you leap.
Mike has created a real cool site to hang out and chat without typing.
For non typing fellas like myself its a real blessing. Check it out and then decide if you like or not, its free. Good place to get one on one help for your problems, that more than likely have happened to
a few of the veteran taxi's on the site.
Except all these southern talking fools in here! LOL Some of these guys like "breaker breaker Ralph" and "toot toot Mike!" Seriously though these guys came up with an awesome site and it is really cool to be able to put a voice with a name. Seminars would be great if they can get any of them thrown together because the person giving the seminar doesn't have to worry about not being able to type well. All you have to do is press the button and speak, when your done speaking let go of the button. Simple! Everyone will love it I'm sure! We'll be there waiting for you! Dan
