bear skin measuring

hi, was wondering when giving a quote on a bear skin rug, and when being priced at the tannery, is the linear foot the width times legth of body only or nose to tail, and what about the legs are they figured in to the measurment. any help would be appriciated

Nose to Tail

That is how it always has been. Some taxidermists charge their bear rugs nose to back foot. Which, in my opinion, is very deceptive, but their price will seem cheaper.
