i finished a fox last week , this week , along the mouth has a 1/8" gap and looks as if the fox is smiling. next time i'll pin it but can this be fixed after its been sitting for 10 days ?

Nate, You can re-hydrate it by wrapping the muzzle in wet towels and then put a plastic bag over that. Leave it overnight and you should be able to put the hide back where it belongs. Use a good hide paste and pin it. You should be OK.
