Giraffe Deer?

I'm working on a whitetail and it seems like the maniken is short. It's a McKenzie 8000 series LT. I doubt that my deer is anything out of the usual but it seems like my brisket is going to end up out of place. In reading the archives it seems this is usually a scenario when dealing with full sneaks. It would seem logical to put the brisket in place and try to taxi things into place but it looks like a lot of extra neck at this point. Is this usual? Any feedback appreciated. Peace- Jeff F.

And I think it's premature to get excited at this point. Many times, a mannikin appears that way, but doing as you've suggested is always the better bet. Once you tack the "Y" incision closed, you're going to find that you've shortened it up considerably anyway.

Thanks George-

As usual, you're correct! Everything seems to be going into place now. Hard to concentrate today when my Vikings are beating the he! out of Green Bay! Thanks again for your prompt response. I think I've got a bondo-glass buzz. Peace- Jeff F.
