can I just salt a green(whit meat leave in the back)skin and leave in the salt for 2 weeks whitout rot risk?

Skin, Flesh, and turn the hide. Salt down well. Roll up and let stand on an angle overnight so the bacterial fluid can drain. shake out and re-salt. Hang in a warm dry place to dry. The Hide will be safe, and ready for tanning.
The problem is that I haven't time for flesh and 0 space in frezeer...
I just keep out parts of the flesh from the hide, but not from the head and feet, and I have salt and put rolled and covert of salt in a box full of salt...
the skins came from domestic goats.
