When Amana sold the first Radar Range, I worked for a shop that sold them. One day we get a call about one not working right, so out on a service call we go, the old lady had gave the little dog a bath and tried to dry it in the Radar Range. Needless to say the dog was dead very dead.

Excuse me, but did you paln to mount it or eat it? You cannot reverse the effects of "cooking" a skin and hope to mount it. The skin will fall apart and the epidermis WILL slip. You can skin a squirrel while it is still frozen partialy. It will take a little longer, but the skin will not slip. I skin squirrels when I get them. It takes less than a few minutes and then you can freeze the skin and it thaws in seconds. I liike to tan mine anyway, so I just salt the skins and then next day they are usually dried enough to tan up and be ready to mount. Also, try not the get the squirrels skin wet either. they slip more then as well.
