Are you talking about the eyelids or the crown of the brow?

If its the eyelid, just peel the skin back and do what you have to. If its the brow of the form, trust the sculptor, they know more than most of us about deer.

I was actually talking about the brow on the form. There is excess skin that sags and really looks like it needs to be filled in.In my reference photos and on other mounts I have had done the brows looked much more pronounced.Maybe I could just punch the deer in the eye and see if it swells up.Mine always does when the wife slugs me.

Deer brows that "sag"

Rick, Sounds like you might have had a cape from a deer a bit heavier in the face than the mannikin, perhaps the form was a little small. That's not a bad situation, just by sliding the skin a bit on top of the head you can evenly distribute the excess skin. Adding clay is not the answer. As the mount dries the skin will tighten some and it should look good. The best mounts happen with capes that fit easily without any tightness. If the fit is too snug you get "hard" looking mounts with flat hair. Enjoy, Aaron H.
