Read here first, theres years of reading to be done.

Get the WASCO line of Breakthrough TAXIDERMY MANUALS.

Together these will launch you into taxidermy.

There may be another site that makes some claims and will want to sell you his tape or tapes. but the best you will find is right here. Dont learn anothers mistakes.

This is the best place to come for answers along with a mag subscription like Breakthru or Taxidermy Today.

Dont forget you have a huge refrence library in here. (the legendary 'orange button')

Nothing is as good as 'hands on' but this site comes in a close second.

There is also a couple of chat sites out there too.(ignore the BS - just have fun)

Here are some websites with "How To" articles and illustrations:
TaxidermyReference.com
WHITETAIL DESIGNER SYSTEMS www.whitetailsystems.com
www.wildlifeartistry.com
Amy, if you catch this, how about your website address? Her site name is Amy's Animal Art.

The above is enough to keeping you reading for a little bit of time.

and the rest said, this is the best place to start. You have years of reading in the achives, a great reference catagory that WASCO has supplied for you. And most of the people here will be more than happy to give you some help. Get the Breakthrough manuals, and a few videos. But most of all do all the reading on the subject you plan on doing. And don't get discourge on the first few mounts that you do. Good luck with your new hobby
