george... i need expert guidance i have several home wet tanned hides ,tanned with ez-100,then frozen. these are all my own. i had too much customer work to do at the time. my question is about rehydrating. do i rehydrate in salted ,or plain water. i've never frozen tanned hides before. thank you bob m.

He recommends rehydration in water mixed with one handful of salt for every gallon of water. I'm no expert but Bruce is always willing to help you. You can go to his hyperlink and talk to him direct or ask here and he'll gladly answer you.

would you have to rehydrate a wet tanned hide? It should be wet to begin with unless you let it dry completely out before freezing. Just thawing it out overnight in a fridge should be all there's to it.
