Dryer for Tumbling

Those of you that use a dryer to tumble hides. Can you use it to tumble skins larger than deer and how about smaller, such a fox and coyote? And how about bird skins, good or bad? Do deer hides really need to be tumbled before mounting? Any pros or cons?

that i bot for $10 - all (virtually) dryer motors run on 120 volt as opposed ot the elements that typically run on 240 volt - it is a very simple matter to get a dryer going in minutes - have used mine from squirrels to deer - no problem
