you have a price and the customer agreed to that price if he wont pay it , sell it and forget him , yes, you may lose some folks temporaraly but they will return and they will know that you are a business person as well as a taxidermist and they wont try the same B S on you , you get what I am saying ? Respect is earned and not a given so dont budge an inch or you will lose that respect forever and that's ALOT worse than losing an assnine customer. Sometimes you need to weed the garden and it sounds like this guy is a real weed !.
Maybe someone more knowlegable will chime in, but If you don't already, you need to have them sign a form saying that unclaimed specimans become your property after so many days and will be sold to recupe costs. I'm not totally sure on this but otherwise it's still his property. I'd like to hear more on this as well. Carl
If you have paper work to back up your claim, take out a ad, explain in short order. In the ad you could set a sale date by sealed bid, with a reserve price.
