Unfortunatley, I took a nice deer skinned it out put could not put it into any type of refrigaration unit. It warmed up and when I went to clean off the excess meat and turn the ears the hide was beginning to smell. I cleaned it up the best that I could. My question is, will the hide be alright? Will the smell go away after tanning?

had some pretty nasty hides make it that id swear were gonna slip, only way to know is to try.

Use Krowtann on that one for certian. I have had great results even with if'y foxes. Seems to set the hair quickly. Good luck
