Just wanted you beginners to know that you can glue styrofoam together
by mixing plaster of paris with water soup like mixture..rough up both sides poke some holes also with a wire..this Is so the plaster will hold properly,I've glued lots of foam together so I could make a form..when I did not have the thickness per sheet?
allow an hour to set up then carefully proceed per usual..It will add a bit of weight to things thou? maybe not to much..but It does work great.clamp together

Why not wipe the foam down with lacquer thinner?

a light mist of lq and a quick rubbing with a rag, on both pieces. Slap them togather and there is done in lesstime than it took to write this post.

You can use a can of spray foam to adhere sheets together. It has the added bonus of being as soft as the sheets of foam, can be cut with a hotwire and is very easily carved with little resistance.
