I am finally going to try my first Mount. I have watched videos, read numerous books,studied, asked questions, and etc. I have been interested in this profession for sometime, but have never made the time to start. My question is this. What pickling solution do you pros recommend? Thanks!

the type od pickle is not important.

James, Rittle's Safety Acid is effective,economical and safe.
Do yourself a favor and get your capes commercially tanned. It's worth every penny it will cost you.
I've tried them all and john c is right (as he usually is)...the type of pickle doesn't really matter, it's HOW you pickle that counts. BUT I recommend Rittles Saftee Acid because it's safe to handle and use and neutralizes easier.
